Melanie Augustin is a jeweller, photographer, and visual artist based in the picturesque Glass House Mountains on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Her creative practice is a celebration of colour, light, and the beauty found in everyday moments.

 

Inspired by the ever-changing palette of the natural world surrounding her studio, she draws on the vibrant landscapes of the Sunshine Coast as well as the rich visual culture, seasonal festivals, and joyful traditions she experienced during the six years she lived in Japan.

Working across multiple artistic disciplines, Melanie captures the essence of place through luminous colour and thoughtful design, creating work that invites viewers to pause, reflect, and delight in the beauty of their surroundings.
