Glenys Fentiman is a talented Mosaic Artist who primarily works with Stained Glass. The unique texture and reflectivity of glass bring each creation to life. She produces both two and three dimensional pieces that vary in size based on the subject, with original designs including abstracts, landscapes, and her distinctive approach to portraiture.

 

Some of her works, like the Lazy Susan line, blend functionality with beauty. Glenys has expressed that glass is her true passion, with an endless array of colors and textures to explore. She loves how light interacts with glass, although capturing that essence in photographs can be quite challenging.

 

Beginning her journey as a leadlighter many years ago, she now prefers the copper foil technique for her suncatchers. Mosaic art became a natural evolution from her leftover glass, and she now cuts full sheets of glass specifically for her popular mosaic creations. These days, Glenys dedicates much of her time to her studio, with her husband jokingly saying he has to entice her out in the evenings a glass of wine.
